Hi, I’m Marissa
If you're someone who spends a lot of time in your head—overthinking, analyzing, replaying conversations, or trying to make sense of everything—you may already understand yourself on a logical level, yet still feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and former school counselor, I provide online therapy for Colorado teens, young adults, adults, and educators who are ready to move beyond simply understanding their struggles and begin feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves. I hold additional training as an EMDR therapist to support healing on a deeper level. My approach is warm, casual, and down-to-earth, creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are while we work together to navigate anxiety, life stressors, relationship challenges, burnout, and difficult experiences that may still be impacting you today.
Online therapy for teens, adults, and educators across Colorado. Specializing in anxiety, overthinking, burnout, trauma, and life stress.
More about me
I am 30 years old and I am from Northern Colorado! I have been married to my husband, Taylor, since 2022 and I also have a goldendoodle who is named Brookie (named after a type of fish, not the tasty treat). I enjoy being outside, going on walks, exploring new places, watching all sorts of movies, reading psychological thriller books, and listening to music (I am a life-long Swiftie). My personality is positive, friendly, down-to-earth, lighthearted, a bit of a planner and solution-oriented. I am a very open-minded individual and I love talking and learning about all sorts of topics. In my soul I believe whole-heartedly in equity, fairness, respect, dignity, kindness, and love.
